Paulinho Garcia brought a large cast of excellent musicians into the studio for his album "My Very Life". Pictured are Garaldo de Oliveira - percussion; Heitor Garcia - percussion; Michael Allemana - electric guitar; Brett Benteler - upright bass. The recording also included Don Steirnberg - mandolin; Ernie Denov - electric guitar; Steve Eisen - flute, saxophone; Julie Koidin - flute; and Grazyna Auguscik - voice. Of the album, the Chicago Tribune's Howard Reich said "Each [track] is a revelation." (2009)

Glenn Broadhead has provided his group Safesax as talent for the classes I teach at Columbia College Chicago (six times and counting!) This session featured Ian Robinson on tenor sax, Ken Partyka on alto, Steve Koerner on soprano, Glenn on baritone, Bill Reda on guitar, Michael Daly on bass, and Bill Byan on drums. (2008)
